Tour Description

Namibia

You can book a pleasant flight to Johannesburg yourself. We’ll take care of the rest. Trust in our many years of experience.

On the day of arrival, we will pick you up at O.R. Tambo airport and take you to your desired rental motorcycle. We use the afternoon and evening to prepare for the next two weeks. You will get to know your motorcycle, learn a lot about the special features of the trip and know who will accompany you.

Via Vryburg and Upington, we move our motorcycles, followed by a support vehicle towards one of the two currently open borders to Namibia. In order to really experience nature, the accommodations are not only chosen in great hotels & guest houses, comfortable lodges and farms are also on the program. Campfire and starry sky romance included.

Unbelievable and breathtaking is the view over the second largest canyon in the world, the Fish River Canyon. The way there and most of the roads of our route from the south of Namibia to the center and back are in very good condition.

Ai-Ais Hot Water Springs, Lüderitz and Sossusvlei are on the program as well as the German bratwurst. We keep our eyes open and see what else reminds us of German history. The Namib-Naukluft National Park, the Whale Bay, Svakopmund and Windhuk are other well-known stations of this adventure trip.

We will find out which playground the giants created in Namibia on our return journey to the border to South Africa. Via the diamond city of Kimberley, we are happy to take a small detour towards the metropolis of Gauteng.

To participate in this trip, you do not have to count yourself among the pronounced off-road specialists, but you should be an experienced motorcyclist with seat meat and have already moved a large travel enduro safely off paved roads with luggage.

Arrival to JNB…

is not included.

All well-known European airlines usually take you to Johannesburg overnight, so that you land in the morning. A little cheaper, especially if you have a lot of luggage to transport, could be a flight over the Emirates.

Luggage will be provided by you…

packed and transported by yourself.

Please pack as much as necessary and not as much as possible. It can get very hot during the day and very cold in the desert at night. Don’t forget your down jacket. If you need anything extra, you still have the possibility to buy it in an outdoor department store on the day of arrival.

A support vehicle…

with water, first aid, technology & SAT.

To make it even more pleasant for all of us, the support vehicle transports an extra portion of water, additional first aid equipment, a satellite telephone & tools. The first cool drink in the evening is also provided. One piece of luggage per person can travel here.

An endless-looking horizon, starry sky and a very low population density come together to give you the feeling of freedom.

A motorcycle trip from South Africa to Namibia is certainly one of the best holiday opportunities available to you in Africa.

The animals, the landscape and the history of the German past give you an unforgettable adventure with a lot of sunshine and beautiful views.

N

Your added value

An experienced Africa guide, who is also a driving safety trainer, accompanies this trip with a local guide in the support vehicle.

N

Pure nature

The Fish River Canyon in the Ai-Ais Richtersveld Transfrontier Park and the Namib Naukluft Park stand for your nature experiences. A vibrant modern city is also included. Windhuk will be a very special enrichment for you.

N

Road gravel tour

We mainly travel on tarred and stuck gravel roads. We will not drive in sand, but you should be saddle-proof and have completed a training off the paved road. The trip is aimed at experienced riders who can control a loaded adventure bike. Expert level 2.

N

Infinite expanse

Route 66 or Namibia? Here you are guaranteed to meet fewer motorcyclists than in the USA. You don’t forget this adventure anymore and have a lot of time for yourself. Immerse yourself in the tranquility of Namibia.

N

Your tour guide...

knows his way around, has completed a certified training and safety is his top priority. He has more than 20 years of experience in southern Africa.

N

Namibia is one of the most populous countries in the world and if you don’t want to see anyone there, then it works. We drive on the left like everyone else and move from one safe place to the next.

N
